Corsi Classic Basketball Tournament Sponsored by CALI Strong

Grant Corsi ( Instagram: @grantcorsi32 ) star basketball player of Trinity International University in Chicago, has revived the San Diego Corsi Classic 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament for a new generation of college players.

CALI Strong sponsored this year’s matchup of 36 contenders from Trinity International, Biola, Azusa Pacific and more. Basketball players battled for a grand prize of highly sought after CALI Strong Sports Company gear.

The tournament was originally created by David Corsi of the Solana Beach Bearcats to challenge basketball players over 12 years ago. After a 2 year hiatus, his son has brought the tournament back.

Grant’s team barely won the tourney with Grant hitting a game winning 3 pointer. Justin Byrd of Asuza Pacific was on the runner-up team. Justin’s dad is Chris Byrd, the former heavyweight boxing champ of the world.

This September CALI Strong will be sponsoring the Corsi Classic Kid’s 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament.

I want to give a huge S/O to everyone who showed up and was apart of the Corsi Court Classic! It is tradition that started when I was 7 years old, so it was a blessing to be able to bring it back and host it myself. A memory I'll never forget!!
