David Lee of Minor Strut Visits CALI Strong at the OC Fair 2017!

David Lee visited the OC Fair with his family. His younger sister, younger brother & himself scored some lit CALI Strong gear courtesy of their parents.

At age 11, David Lee is the front man for Minor Strut, a band consisting of 11-16 year olds. The band has been playing since March 2014 and performs a wide variety of covers from Alternative to Rockabilly, as well as original music. They have performed at The Whisky a Go Go, House of Blues, The Cave and have also had the opportunity to play with such legendary rockers such as Duff McKagan (Guns and Roses), John Tempesta and Social Distortion.

David is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and loyal friend.  He is an avid advocate for Rex Fest Foundation, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Relay for Life, and our Military.  David has had the honor to win several talent and songwriting competitions.  He has been featured in several commercials, news reports, and music videos, and was honored as the 2016 Blues Kid of the Year by the Blues Kids Foundation.

Minor Strut’s debut EP ‘Connected‘  was released on May 14, 2016.  The EP includes four original tracks:  What’s Stopping You, Diggin’ Holes, Connected and Racing to Somewhere.  ‘Connected’ was Recorded and Produced at Rockstars of Tomorrow in Norco, CA by Ben Rico and Michael Anderson; Mixed by Cedrick Courtois at The Castle in San Diego, CA; and Mastered by Maor Appelbaum at Maor Appelbaum Mastering in California. They are currently working on new music with two new tracks titled, I’m Walkin’ and Got What I Need.
